I did. Here's Wiki's definition of a recursive acronym:
"A recursive acronym (or occasionally recursive initialism) is an abbreviation which refers to itself in the expression for which it stands"
Therefore, Zifferent's acronym (SMOS) is NOT recursive because it doesn't refer to itself.
